Worth a look if you want to tap to pay from a self-custody wallet in one of Oobit’s 74 countries without pre-loading a card. If you want published cashback rates, a named issuer or a physical card, look elsewhere.

Overview
Oobit is a payments app that gives you a virtual Visa card, used mainly by tapping your phone through Apple Pay or Google Wallet. So it is a card: a Visa credential, without a physical card.
With DePay, crypto stays in your own wallet until you approve a payment; you can also hold funds in Oobit’s built-in account, which its terms describe as custodial. Card payments cost 1% (minimum $0.25) and contactless ATM withdrawals 2.5%. Oobit calls the card “credit” for network acceptance but offers no credit line.
Oobit gives you a virtual Visa card that you mostly use by tapping your phone (Apple Pay / Google Wallet) or online. You can pay in two ways: with DePay, the crypto stays in your own wallet (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Phantom and others) until you approve a payment, which settles on-chain while the merchant receives local currency; or from Oobit's built-in account, where crypto is held by Oobit on a custodial basis. Either way, a 1% fee applies to each card payment.source
