Verdict

A low-cost way for EEA residents to spend stablecoins, especially if you hold USDG. It doesn’t suit you if you need a physical card or cash withdrawals, or if you want to spend crypto other than USDC or USDG.

Pros

  • No issuance, monthly or FX fee
  • 2% cashback for non-VIP users when you pay in USDG
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay
  • Spends straight from your OKX Pay stablecoin balance, no manual top-up

Cons

  • Virtual only: OKX doesn’t issue physical cards
  • Cashback only on USDG payments; USDC spending earns nothing
  • Non-VIP cashback is capped at €50 a month
  • Runs on a prepaid BIN, so some hotels, car rentals and fuel pumps may decline it
