A solid pick for US residents who pay their balance in full and want crypto rewards with no annual or foreign transaction fee. Skip it if you live outside the US or tend to carry a balance, since interest would wipe out the rewards.

Overview
The Gemini Credit Card is a World Elite Mastercard issued by WebBank. You spend dollars on a credit line, and rewards are paid instantly for most purchases into your Gemini account in bitcoin (the default) or another crypto you choose from 50+ on Gemini.
Rates depend on the merchant category: 4% on gas, EV charging, transit, taxis and rideshare (up to $300 of spend a month), 3% on dining, 2% on groceries and 1% on everything else. Categories follow the merchant’s code, so stores like Costco or Walmart usually earn 1%.

Is it worth it? Quick math
Entry tier, $1,000 a month of everyday spending in the card’s currency, first year, compared with a plain 2% cash-back card. Only the verified figures above are used.

- $120
- Card fees (issuance + 12 × monthly)
